The Orchar Collection – Anna Robertson
Come and celebrate the bicentenary of industrialist and civic benefactor James Guthrie Orchar (1825-98), whose remarkable collection of 440 artworks survives intact.
Anna Robertson, the Manager of Fine and Applied Art for Leisure & Culture Dundee, based at The McManus in that city, gives a curators view of the highlights that include a Turner watercolour, a comprehensive range of British prints, and works by John Pettie, William Orchardson, and William McTaggart.
